  • The AC is oversized. This is common. An oversized unit blasts the temperature down in ten minutes and shuts off before it's run long enough to wring moisture out. Cool and clammy is the signature of an oversized system.
  • The blower fan is set too high, moving air across the coil too fast to condense much water.
  • The system is low on refrigerant or the coil is dirty, cutting its moisture removal.
  • Ductwork leaks are pulling humid attic or crawlspace air into the system.
