Two Ways In

Come in with a truck's worth of experience, or come in green and earn your way up. Both are full-time, both are year-round, both come with benefits.

Experienced

HVAC Technician / Installer

$40+ / hour depending on experience

You've been doing this a while. You can walk up to a system, figure out what's actually wrong, and fix it right the first time. We'll pay you what that's worth and stay out of your way.

  • Residential and light commercial service and installation
  • EPA certification required
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Valid driver's license and a clean record
  • Reliable, professional, and good with homeowners

HVAC Apprentice

$18 to $40 / hour depending on year and skill

No experience? That's fine, as long as you show up and want to learn. We train you, pay for your certifications, and move you up on a written schedule. Hit the marks and you're a $40 an hour tech with a company van.

  • No prior HVAC experience required
  • Paid path to EPA certification and KY journeyman licensing
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work
  • Valid driver's license
  • Raises tied to real skills, not time served

Pay & Benefits

What You Actually Get

Every number on this page is real. We'd rather tell you up front than waste your time in an interview.

Top Pay

$40+ an hour for experienced techs, based on what you can actually do. Apprentices start at $18 and climb on a written schedule.

Real Benefits

About $9 an hour on top of your wage: health insurance, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.

Steady Work

Year-round work with a growing company. Service, installs, and maintenance keep the schedule full through the slow months.

Company Van

Once you're running your own work, you get a company van. No hauling tools around in your own truck on your own gas.

Paid Certifications

EPA certification, KY journeyman licensing, and ongoing training. We pay for it because we want you to have it.

A Shop Worth Staying At

Family-run, 13+ years, dual-licensed in Ohio and Kentucky. No commission quotas, no pressure to sell people what they don't need.

The Career Track

From Apprentice to $40 an Hour

Most shops tell you there's room to grow and never put it in writing. Here's ours. Each step is a set of skills, not a calendar date. Prove them and you move.

Year One
Learn the Trade
Safety and jobsite cleanup, assisting installers and service techs, brazing copper, installing ductwork, basic electrical, preventive maintenance, and earning your EPA certification.
Year Two
Start Running Work
Install residential systems with supervision, basic troubleshooting, and talking to customers yourself. You start leading portions of installs, handling diagnostics, airflow, and startup procedures, and working toward your Kentucky journeyman license.
Year Three
Work On Your Own
Complete most installs independently, advanced troubleshooting, and mentoring the new apprentices. You perform residential service and installations on your own, KY journeyman licensed. This is where the company van shows up.
Year Four
Lead and Own Jobs
Full-service diagnostics and repairs, spotting sales opportunities honestly, complex diagnostics, commercial experience, duct design, and job organization. You bid it, organize it, work it, clean it up, and bill it out.
Year Five
Top of the Ladder
Hit all of it and you're at the top of our pay scale with full benefits, a company van, paid holidays, vacation, sick days, and bonuses. Same money the experienced hires make, except you built it here.

Pay moves with the skills, roughly $18 an hour at the start up to $40 an hour at the top, plus about $9 an hour in benefits the whole way. We'll walk you through exactly where you'd land in the interview.

Before You Apply

Questions We Get a Lot

For the experienced technician role, yes. For the apprentice track, no. We pay for your EPA certification during your first year.

Yes, both. We're in people's homes every day, so it isn't negotiable. Ask us if you've got something on your record you're worried about. We'd rather talk about it than guess.

Not to start. We hold Ohio HVAC #5219326, KY HVAC #HMO6879, and Boiler Contractor #KY2673, and we work both sides of the river. We help apprentices get their KY journeyman license as part of the career track.

No. Between service, installs, and maintenance plans, we stay busy year-round. You're not getting laid off in October.

Once you're running your own service and installs, yes. Experienced hires who come in ready typically get one right away.
